Stojan is my buddy from Bled. Every day, he goes around the lake at dawn. He has created a beautiful friendship with me. Every time he passes me, he stops to give me treats. Sometimes, I even spot him from the other side of the lake; I sit down and watch him, then when he arrives, I run along the shore to join him, ready to receive a dose of treats and hugs. I am so excited to see him that every time, I jump on him and he almost falls off his bike, but he doesn’t seem to mind at all, he laughs about it…
He teaches me Slovenian words: “Sedi” means “sit”, “priden pes” means “good dog”.
What is really touching about this situation is that even though he doesn’t know me very well, he takes the time every day to stop and pet me.
This shows that even the simplest acts of kindness can have a significant impact on the lives of others, including us dogs.
